Welcome to Irish Metro. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Irish Metro platform, restaurant directory, digital menu distribution, and related services. By accessing, registering, browsing, or using this website, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should discontinue use of the platform immediately.
1. About Irish Metro
Irish Metro is Ireland's restaurant directory platform that connects Irish restaurants with customers across all 32 counties. We provide restaurant listings, digital menu distribution (DMDS), food order referrals, and restaurant newsletter services.
Irish Metro primarily acts as a directory platform, referral intermediary, and promotional service for restaurants. Except where expressly stated, Irish Metro is not the direct operator of restaurants listed on the platform.
2. User Eligibility
By using this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering binding agreements, you are at least 18 years old or authorized to represent a business entity, you will use the platform lawfully and responsibly, and you will provide accurate and truthful information during registration and business dealings.
Irish Metro reserves the right to refuse access, suspend accounts, or terminate memberships where false information, fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity is suspected.
3. Marketplace Services
Irish Metro may provide supplier and buyer introductions, product promotions, business referrals, escrow facilitation, foreign exchange assistance, trade advisory services, product reviews, travel and sourcing guidance, advertising, and premium business visibility services.
The platform serves as a communication and business facilitation medium only. Irish Metro does not guarantee supplier credibility, product quality, shipment delivery, trade profitability, regulatory approvals, customs clearance outcomes, or business success. Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering any commercial transaction.
4. Product Listings & Third-Party Content
Products, services, supplier profiles, advertisements, reviews, and business information published on Irish Metro may originate from third parties. While we may review, moderate, or selectively promote certain listings, Irish Metro does not warrant or guarantee product authenticity, accuracy of descriptions, certifications, merchant claims, pricing accuracy, availability, or merchant performance.
Users acknowledge that reliance on third-party content is done at their own risk.
5. Escrow Services
Irish Metro may facilitate escrow-related arrangements between buyers and sellers to assist transaction security. By using escrow services, users acknowledge and agree that Irish Metro is not a bank or licensed financial institution unless otherwise stated, escrow services do not eliminate commercial risks, funds may be delayed due to compliance checks, banking procedures, or fraud prevention measures, and Irish Metro is not liable for disputes relating to defective products, delivery failures, customs seizures, supplier misconduct, or business losses.
Users are responsible for understanding all transaction terms before proceeding.
6. Foreign Exchange & Payment Support
Irish Metro may assist users with foreign exchange processing or international payment coordination through licensed third-party providers. Exchange rates, transfer timelines, processing fees, and regulatory requirements may change without notice and vary by jurisdiction.
Users remain fully responsible for complying with international trade laws, currency regulations, tax obligations, import/export restrictions, anti-money laundering laws, and customs regulations in their respective countries.
7. Membership & Fees
Certain services on Irish Metro may require paid membership, subscription fees, advertising fees, escrow processing fees, referral commissions, or promotional service charges. All fees paid to Irish Metro are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
Irish Metro reserves the right to modify pricing, introduce new service charges, suspend services for unpaid accounts, and reject applications or listings without obligation to provide explanation.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users of Irish Metro shall not engage in fraud or deceptive conduct, post false or misleading business information, sell counterfeit or prohibited products, violate intellectual property rights, use the platform for illegal trade, transmit malware or harmful software, interfere with platform security or operations, or harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
Irish Metro reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, report unlawful conduct to authorities, and cooperate with law enforcement where necessary.
9. International Trade Risks
Users acknowledge that international trade may involve risks including shipping delays, customs inspections, import/export restrictions, currency fluctuations, political or economic instability, supplier default, and product quality disputes. 13. Indemnification
